Chicken Onion Pasta

• Step 1
  Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
• Step 2
  Add the onions and cook, stirring occasionally until onions are tender and caramelized. About 15 minutes.
• Step 3
  Remove the onions to a bowl.
• Step 4
  Season the chicken with the salt, pepper, garlic granules, and paprika.
• Step 5
  Heat the olive oil in the same skillet.
• Step 6
  Add the chicken to the skillet and cook and stir for 5 minutes until the chicken is seared on all sides. Then, slice it.
• Step 7
  Add the onions back to the pan along with the pasta and chicken broth.
• Step 8
  Bring to a boil and then simmer over low heat until most of the liquid is absorbed and pasta is tender.
• Step 9
  Stir in the heavy cream, and parmesan cheese.
• Step 10
  Top with parsley if desired and serve.
